Terms of Service
Last updated October 14, 2026
These terms cover your use of ThruPay (thrupay.io). By creating an account you agree to them.
What ThruPay does
ThruPay helps you send follow-up emails about invoices you've issued and lets your clients pay by card through Stripe. You are the seller; ThruPay is a tool you use. You're responsible for the invoices you add and the emails you approve.
Your account
- Give accurate information and keep your password safe.
- Only send reminders to clients you have a genuine business relationship with and who owe you money.
- Don't use ThruPay for spam, harassment, threats, illegal debt collection practices, or anything unlawful.
- Don't use ThruPay to send or store patient health information. ThruPay is not HIPAA compliant.
Payments
Card payments are processed by Stripe and subject to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement. Stripe's processing fees apply. ThruPay is free for early-access users until January 1, 2027. After that, ThruPay charges 5% of each invoice paid through ThruPay ($5 minimum, $40 maximum), with no monthly fee. We'll tell you before any pricing change affects you.
AI-written emails
Follow-up emails are drafted with AI. Review them before approving — you're responsible for what's sent in your name.
Ending your account
You can stop using ThruPay at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
No warranty and limits
ThruPay is provided "as is." We can't guarantee any client will pay. To the extent the law allows, ThruPay's total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid ThruPay in the previous 12 months.
Changes
We may update these terms and will post the new date here. Continuing to use ThruPay means you accept the update.
